How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, and level of fitness?
Gives us something to talk about at the dinner table :) I find myself excited to work out, rather than dragging my butt to the regular gym and struggling to come up with a work out that will push me. I’ve seen my strength and endurance increase more over the last year and a half than the years I’ve spent at thrive. It’s turned into something that my wife and I can have in common to push, encourage, and motivate each other.

Who or what motivates/inspires you to keep coming back?
Everyone! The coaches, other members, and the need/want at a chance to get better

What is your proudest CrossFit achievement?
Getting ring Muscle Ups right before the 2015 open and being able to rip out a few in the open workout

Name one goal/personal achievement you would like to achieve through CrossFit?
Butterfly pull ups

Hobbies/Interests outside of CrossFit?
Golf and water skiing

Any advice for new members?
Stick with it! It can be intimidating right out the gate, just hang in there. Focus on technique and mechanics of each movement and master those before throwing on the plates and PRing that lift

Any additional thoughts/shout-outs/comments:
shout out to Matt and Kay for providing us with safe, fun, and family oriented environment. To all the coaches and members for pushing and encouraging us/each other to be a better version of ourselves.
