What is your athletic/fitness background?
I tried different sports growing up but never stuck with any of them except canoe paddling which I have been doing for 22years…

Favorite W.O.D.
I don’t really have favorites… i enjoy most WODs.

Favorite lift or movement:
pull-ups, pistols, overhead squats

wall balls, rowing

Favorite “guilty pleasure” food:
all of it … ice cream, canday, cupcakes, pizza, sugar… I love sugar…. Sugar is my favorite

How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, and level of fitness?
Crossfit has helped me a lot with my level of fitness and in canoe paddling. It has inspired me in so many ways. Crossfit has helped me with my life and how I can relate it back to everyday challenges by not giving up but to keep working on myself and my family. It reminds me that there is always room for improvement, to enjoy and trust the process of it all because in the end it will be worth it.

Who or what motivates/inspires you to keep coming back?
The coaches and the community inspire me every day to stay committed also the challenges that crossfit brings keeps me coming back

What is your proudest CrossFit achievement?
To be able to do a ring muscle up.

Name one goal/personal achievement you would like to achieve through CrossFit?
To someday be able to deadlift 300lbs

Hobbies/Interests outside of CrossFit?
Watching my son Elias play football and Makenna do Crossfit or canoe race. I enjoy helping my husband with his canoe building or just hanging out with him because he constantly keeps me entertained and laughing. For those of you that don’t know my husband Joe… he’s an athlete and it’s all about him

Any advice for new members?
Stick with it, enjoy the challenge, trust the process and get better every day.
