How long have you been CrossFitting?
Sept 18 is my 2 year Crossfitversary

How did you find CrossFit i1uvit?
Chris Pash met my Aunt Donia. and then Aunt Donia signed us all up for intro camp. My aunt has a way of getting you to do things that you can't say "No" to. I1uvit is a 7 minute drive from my house it was a no brainer.

What is your athletic/fitness background (If applicable)
I have been paddling with Rikkole Cree Canoe Club for 4 years, before that i was a world champion couch potato, so serious.

I like EMOMs

Definitely Deadlifts

Its a toss between: Fran and Kelly

How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, and level of fitness?
I have seriously tried every FAD diet you can think of! I've had gym memberships that i sparingly used. My first intro camp class at I1uvit i knew i was hooked! CrossFit has changed my body, my way of thinking, my way of eating, definitely in a positive way! I feel like i am in the best shape of my entire life. I no longer think of working out as a chore, everyday I check my phone at 8pm to see what tomorrows WOD is so that i can prepare for it mentally and physically. I can't imagine my life without CrossFit.

Who or what motivates/inspires you to keep coming back?
Coaches, the programming, other crossfitters. All the coaches at i1uvit are genuinely caring people, i like that there are CrossFitters from all walks of life, it is an all around great atmosphere. Add them both together and its just like one big family. #i1uvit

What is your proudest CrossFit achievement?
I set a goal to get a 300# Deadlift and i got it! Toot Toot!!!

Name one goal/personal achievement you would like to achieve through CrossFit?
Climbing the rope. When it comes to climbing i have 2 left feet.

Hobbies/Interests outside of CrossFit?
There is a War Canoe racing circuit that I race in every weekend from May until the end of August. There are crews from many different tribes/bands in Canada, Vancouver Island, Lummi, Swinomish, Nooksack. I love paddling. There is nothing that gets my adrenaline going like the start of a canoe race. I love hanging out with my family, I'm lucky enough to have a million cousins that live close, so we always get together for birthday parties and dinners. I really just enjoy being surrounded by friends and family.

Any advice for new members?
1. Use plenty of chalk. 2. Don't worry about matching your outfit, I'm not judging.
