Where are you from? I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Bellingham in 2018.
Occupation (in addition to coaching at i1uvit): IT Systems Engineer at WWU
Where did you go to school? What did you study? Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. Accounting.
What coaching credentials do you have? CrossFit L1, Crossfit Strongman
How long have you been CrossFitting? I started in 2013.
What is your athletic/fitness background? I ride bikes a lot. I race enduro and downhill mountain bikes, but I mostly just ride for fun and to explore. I also trained and competed in powerlifting and strongman.
Favorite WOD: Anything long and simple
Favorite lift or movement: Wall balls and deadlifts
Least favorite WOD: Anything with high volume overhead work
Least favorite movement: Sumo deadlift high pull

Favorite food: BBQ, especially when I've cooked it myself.
How has CrossFit changed your life/lifestyle/level of fitness? CrossFit has brought a lot of balance to my fitness, and pushes me to be better every day. I am much more well rounded and healthy when I am doing CrossFit.
Who or what motivates/inspires you? The people around me who are crushing it, setting goals and achieving them or working through challenges and coming out stronger.
What is your proudest CrossFit achievement(s)? Becoming a coach at i1uvit! And deadlifting 600lbs one time.
Name one goal you are working to achieve through CrossFit? Build the durability to keep doing what I love.
Hobbies/Interests outside of CrossFit? If I'm not in the gym, I'm usually mountain biking. I also love skiing, traveling, and racing in my Formula 1 simulator.
Any advice for new members? Adapt and scale to get the most out of every day. Keep showing up.
