Where are you from? I grew up in Bellingham, graduated high school from LC, moved away to Bozeman, MT til coming home to Whatcom County in 2017

Where did you go to school? What did you study? Whatcom community college; medical assisting for orthopedics

What coaching credentials do you have? CF Level 1 & CF Level 2, CF Olympic Lifting

What year did you begin CrossFitting? 2012

What is your athletic/fitness background? Distance running, horses & mountain biking.

Favorite W.O.D.: Anything 20 minutes and over (Chad!?)

Favorite lift or movement: Squat snatching or pullups

Least favorite W.O.D.: Anything under 5 minutes and heavy

Least favorite movement: Deadlift

How has CrossFit changed your life/lifestyle/level of fitness? CrossFit drastically changed my fitness level from a weak scrawny over-trained distance runner to a strong well rounded functional athlete with purpose.

Who or what motivates/inspires you? My passion for the healthy lifestyle promoted by this sport, the community and love within the gym family, and the fight to be the best I can be for that day.

What is your proudest CrossFit achievement(s)? Placing 33rd at the 2019 CrossFit Games

Name one goal you are working to achieve through CrossFit? I’d love to use CrossFit to train for and compete in a spartan race someday

Hobbies/Interests outside of CrossFit? Hmm, Coach Mitch ;)... sunshine, jumping in water, my family, gardening, making kombucha and dreaming of a farm...

Any advice for new members? Don’t be afraid to ask questions, take it one day at a time, come in even when you’re sore and be as consistent as possible! Also try to not be intimidated by the OG members...everyone remembers their first days and we all had to start somewhere!
